Adult Tap Awards

For many years now we've worked with the I.D.T.A Adult Tap Syllabus.
These are Bronze - 3rd Gold Bar, followed by 5 Star Awards
and 4 President Awards.
After this Duo and Trio Awards can be taken in same order as above
(descriptions of the Tests are below)

All Awards Info

Bronze to Gold Medals are two 8 Bar Amalgamations & one Dance (1min30)
1st to 3rd Gold Bar are the same but more difficult & a Dance of 2min
Bronze to Gold receive a Medal
(Green, Blue and Red)
1st & 2nd Gold Bars receive a Plaque and 3rd Gold Bar is a Cup
Star & President Awards both comprise of two 2 minute Dances.
Star Awards are 2 Dances of differing styles (Irish, Jive, Hoe Down etc..)
using various Props and Costumes.
President Awards are
'Varied Style & Tempo' & 'A Theme'
1st Star recipients receive a Shield with a Star affixed then 4 extra Stars
President Awards are Cups in 4 sizes
Duo & Trio Awards are the same order as above & the same Awards
Trio Star Awards receive a Star Pin

I.D.T.A MARKING SYSTEM:
64 OR LESS  (UNSUCCESSFUL)
65-74  (PASS)
75 - 79  (COMMENDED)
80 - 84  (HIGHLY COMMENDED)
85 AND ABOVE  (HONOURS)
